The food safety in Germany is determined and guaranteed by manifold laws and regulations.
These laws and regulations guarantee the consumer protection against health dangers, pretence and deception. Furthermore informs the stipulated data about the kind of food and its important characteristics like dosage, composition and shelf life. Thereby the following regulations are important:

Regulation of labelling the allergens
As from the 13th of December the new regulation EU-Verordnung 1169/2011 comes into effect. Aim of this regulation is to provide even more information about food to the customer. A very important component is the improved marking of allergens with packed and bulked goods. More information you get here... We, the Nubassa Gewürzwerk, have implemented the new regulation in time. That is to say, that all our product specifications, recipe proposals and labels contain the new obligate data. We will be glad to give you support in implementing the new regulation in your company.
Regulation of labelling the nutritional values
As from December 2016 additionally the labelling obligation of nutritional values will come into effect. From this point onwards, calorific value, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrate, sugar, protein and salt must be marked. The values are to be referred to 100 grams or 100 milliliters of the food. In addition, it is possible to specify the proportion of the recommended daily intake of the food relative to an adult. Nutritional values per serving are also permitted.
