IFS Food Certification
We were assessed by TÜV Süd auditors in the areas of corporate responsibility, quality and food safety management, resource management and food defense and we were certified that we work at the highest level in all areas of the company. This confirms our company philosophy, because we have always consistently delivered excellent quality to our customers. Comprehensive advice, presentation of new technologies and product innovations are also among our success factors.
DIN ISO 9001
The Nubassa spice factory is certified according to the nationally and internationally recognized ISO 9001. This quality management system integrates the HACCP system and is the basis for process-optimized quality management and a continuous improvement process in order to meet customer requirements for product and service quality.
DIN ISO 22000
Since 2009, Nubassa has been the first German spice factory to be ISO 22000 certified for the development, production and distribution of spices, spice specialties, flavors, marinades and additives for meat and food processing. The globally valid standard defines the requirements for food safety management systems. The standard was developed to harmonize food safety certification at the highest levels worldwide. It has many similarities to the IFS and BRC standards and includes all the requirements of an effective HACCP concept with preventative programs and well-founded process monitoring.

HALAL
The Nubassa Spice Factory produces a large number of HALAL certified products. The certification guarantees that the products are manufactured, stored and packaged in compliance with Islamic religious dietary regulations and is carried out annually after qualified testing of the ingredients and inspection of the production rooms. We are happy to certify additional products upon request.

KOSHER
The Nubassa Spice Factory also produces a large number of kosher-certified products that comply with Jewish dietary laws. Certification takes place annually after qualified testing of the ingredients and inspection of the production rooms. We are happy to certify additional products upon request.
RSPO (ROUNDTABLE ON SUSTAINABLE PALM OIL)
Since March 2019, Nubassa has been certified according to the RSPO SCC standard [No. CU-RSPO SCC-863191]. This guarantees secure, traceable and credible evidence of a sustainable manufacturing process for the respective products. Nubassa has been a member of the RSPO since 2015 and sources its palm oil exclusively from suppliers who are also members and certified. The RSPO successfully advocates for more nature conservation, among other things. the renunciation of the clearing of primary forests as well as human rights, e.g. the fight against child labor in the production of palm oil. Through this consistent decision, the company makes an important contribution to people and nature.
